A Book Named Goo

After 40 years, Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls gets its first full-length biography. A Book Named Goo is not only an impressive depiction of the formation and maturation of the band, but it also includes an extensive and relevant history of the city the band came from. This added context grounds the band's evolution in a tangible cultural and geographic identity. With the most top 10 singles on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart, over 15 million records sold, multiple gold and platinum records led by the best-selling song "Iris," A Book Named Goo chronicles the band's history from their early pop-punk days until the song "Name" became a surprise hit. There is an extensive early tour history where the band played with dozens of punk, hardcore, and alternative bands. A Book Named Goo includes over 100 images; interviews with 100 people (including the band); is nearly 500 pages long, and will be interesting to both the casual fan, as well as the serious one. "You've created an amazing listening experience to go along with a tour de force of a biography."
