A Kiss From a Gargoyle

Willow is unlike all the other pious Sisters that live within Thorncatcher Monastery. Adopted by the One True Faith as a baby, she has lived a humble life inside the religious order, all the while harboring a reckless and wicked spirit. These urges she feels push her to explore beyond the walls that have caged her. Feelings of love and lust swirl inside her until she snaps by kissing a local boy in full view of her congregation. Now she must be punished, and the lecherous Father Knoll, who's always had an eye on Willow, knows just the place she'll beg for forgiveness. Remanded to Shadowveil Church, it is a crumbling structure, worn down by years of disuse. For three days, she will reside there: naked, hungry, and in prayer, beseeching God to forgive her for her sins. Willow soon learns that there's more than meets the eye as the church conceals a dark secret from the One True Faith's past. A gargoyle, trapped in a prison of marble, resides atop the dias, unmoving. But not for long. The moment Baezal hears the cries of the small human woman locked inside his church, the bounds of his curse are released, freeing him from the century he spent as a statue. With his newfound freedom, leaving the church is the last thing on his mind as he takes in Willow. One look at her and he knows everything has changed for him. She needs a protector-a guardian, the very thing he was created for. And, God willing, a lover who will take him into her bed. Willow's curiosity about the creature before her is piqued the moment she sees him. The wickedness flares to life within her, and for the first time, she has the chance to satisfy all her wanton urges. Will she finally be about to please her fiery soul? Or will their night of passion burn too hotly to last?
