A Message to the Sea

ANYONE COULD SEND A MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE. BUT WHEN THE SEA STARTED WRITING BACK TO YOU, THAT WAS SPECIAL. AND EVEN A LITTLE TERRIFYING. It's been a year since Tom Pellow's dad was lost at sea, but it's hard to accept that he's really gone. There's no grave to mark where his ship sank, with no survivors, far away across the ocean. Tom is drawn to the water, intrigued by the secrets it holds. So he starts writing messages in bottles, and sending them out on the tide. He doesn't really expect a reply - but sometime hope is all you need. A charming and beautifully written story about grief, hope and miracles.
