A Thread of Hope on Petticoat Lane

Keep calm and carry on with the market girls of Petticoat Lane - a BRAND NEW uplifting and heartwarming saga story from the BESTSELLING author of The Library Girls of the East End As war sweeps the streets of the East End, three women must fight to protect the community they love... On the bustling cobblestones of Petticoat Lane, Maisie, Amanda and Bethan are trying to keep calm and carry on. But their lives are thrown into chaos when the council threatens to reduce the number of market stalls, putting their livelihoods at risk. Wanting to support the community in any way they can, the girls find a welcome distraction in helping a vulnerable young mother, recently made homeless with newborn twins. Together with generous offerings from other market traders, they set out to sew two christening gowns, proving that even in the darkest times, the Lane looks after its own. With the future of Petticoat Lane hanging in the balance, the three friends must find the courage to stand up against authority. In the heart of a war-ravaged East End, where everyone is struggling to make do, can they successfully stitch their community - and their lives - back together?
