After The Fury (Strings of Fate, #4)

Book four in the Strings of Fate series! Goddess-touched, duty-bound by destiny. Nemesis Rion is a Goddess-touched Fae with no memory of her past. One year after the war's end, she's more determined than ever to uncover the truth of who she is. When a new portal tears through the veil between realms, throwing the fragile balance of Fythnar into chaos, Nem is sent to investigate, joined by a handpicked unit of warriors from each court. When she touches the breach in a desperate attempt to close it, a fragment of memory sparks to life, and from the rift comes a silver-scaled dragon, unlike anything known in their world... yet strangely familiar to her. As Nem works to piece together her memories and heal the unravelling fabric of her realm, she finds herself caught between two forces: her growing bond with the dragon, and her complicated feelings for Krepth, the roguish wolf Shifter and spymaster. The history between Shifters and the Goddess-touched is steeped in distrust, and old tensions threaten to rise anew. With portals opening and strange creatures slipping through, Nem must face the truth of her origin, the vastness of her power - and the path that will take her back to where it all began. What she uncovers will shatter everything she thought she knew, upending her entire world and bringing forth a sinister force that has long been lurking in between realms, waiting for its chance to break free. The shadows hold secrets, destinies entwine, and the pulse-pounding adventure continues, so expect the unexpected as we dive back into the world of Fythnar, one year on from the events of Melissa J Kincaid's bestselling Strings of Fate trilogy.
