Bears Don't Care about Your Problems

Bears don't care about your problems. Call your mom, tell your Twitter followers, or take a Sharpie and write them on the wall of a public restroom if you must, but bears certainly don't give a sh*t. Even if you've never considered the absurdity of sleeping on the ground in a place where bears live, pooping in a bag on a glacier, or trying to teach someone you love a sport that scares them to the point of loudly threatening to kill you in front of strangers, Bears Don't Care About Your Problems will still make you laugh. This collection of nearly eighty essays by bestselling writer and outdoor adventurer Brendan Leonard reflects his wry and witty outlook on wilderness, adventure, and running shoes. With a foreword by fellow writer and outdoor mentor Steve Casimiro, founder of Adventure Journal, the essays also feature Leonard's trademark hand-drawn illustrations. Readers of all stripes will appreciate these hilarious and often thoughtful observations about an outdoor life.
