Dar Voz Al Niño / Give the Child a Voice

> ENGLISH DESCRIPTION "Strengthening the emotional bond with children should be our priority." We cannot be the parents our children need unless we first heal the wounds of our inner child. How we were raised determines how we are raising our children. That is why the first thing we must do is assess whether we are raising our children in a mindful way, whether we practice a parenting style that puts the child at the center, that gives them a voice, and supports them, and that respects their pace and their processes. For Yvonne Laborda, there are four keys to conscious parenting: -Presence: the importance of our presence, gaze, and attention. -Validation: the importance of validating emotions, feelings, and needs, without judgment or interpretation. -Naming: the importance of naming the truth and what we truly feel. -Emotional intimacy: the importance of emotional communication. An essential book for those who want to feel supported on the journey of parenthood.
