In a brand new, steamy, age-gap forbidden cowboy romance fans of Lyla Sage and Elsie Silver, a woman running from her abusive ex crashes straight into the strong and safe arms of cattle rancher Westin Hayes...who also happens to be her godfather. He was supposed to protect her. Falling for her was never part of the plan. Even in the remote mountains of Montana, some secrets just can't stay hidden . . . Huddled in a crashed car on a gravel road surrounded by wandering cattle during a Montana snowstorm is a long way from studying at Oxford. I just hope it's far enough to stay hidden from my manipulative, controlling, narcissistic ex-boyfriend. And yet, the moment I lock eyes with the hot cowboy who's come to my rescue, I know I'm safe. I know I'm home. However, he's the one cowboy I shouldn't go weak in the knees for. My dad's best friend. My godfather. Soon enough, I'm Westin Hayes' new employee at the Hayes family ranch. It might be winter, but the heat between us climbs with every moment of living and working in close proximity. The longing grows too strong, and ultimately, all the reasons not to succumb to temptation-my family, my dad, the Hayes "curse"-disappear beneath the swirling snow . . . We should really stop sneaking around. We should tell everyone the truth. For both of us, it's more than lust. This deepening love has me finding myself again-the self my ex so callously tried to tear down. But there's the rub. My ex has no intention of letting anyone else have me if he can't. And now, somehow, he's found me.
