Freedom Rider 6 - Gold Bird (English)

Heart, humour, actionand excitementDark Gothic waves roll in like thunderclouds in the sixth volume of the"Freedom Rider" series, "Gold Bird," intertwined with the thrilling topic of anatomy and the fascinating art of 3D organ printing. Furthermore, artificial intelligence-in various shapes, such as the familiar C.A.P.P. and A.C.I.-forms a pillar of this spectacular and revolutionary novel. As always, the "Freedom Rider" series was inspired by the 1980s cult series "Knight Rider," starring David Hasselhoff and a talking, modified, Trans Am (which remains groundbreaking for automotive technology even today)-which served as the inspiration for the medium- to dark-red, fantastical C.I.C.C., rooted in the 21st century and perhaps influencing automotive history, Logan Grace's automotive partner, who fights for justice alongside a family-like team.In the sixth volume of the book series, Logan and C.I.C.C. find themselves confronted with a spectacular super-code that could fundamentally change the technological world as we know it. But the thieves weren't just out to reshape the world, after they made use of technology from C.O.D.E.-affiliated organizations Grace Technologies and Spy Grace and carried out a break-in; C.O.D.E. itself is also in danger, entangled with aspects of cutting-edge laser technology, including a sonic laser and a pop-up paraglider.A labyrinth of false trails, technological, artistic, and psychological tricks and traps awaits Logan and C.I.C.C. as they carry out a mission in a wasteland of woven webs and dark moors-a mission that at first doesn't seem to be connected to the events at all, but gradually lifts its veil to reveal its connection to the present..."Gold Bird" offers an action-packed blend of subtle creepiness, with mild aspects of classic gothic literature, a deep dive into the human psyche, and current trends in the fields of medicine, art, psychology, and chemistry-which sometimes carry a faint hint of an ancient, alchemical "witch's chamber"-and, with dark veins, carve a path into the 21st century. Mysterious, invisible, and right in the midst of the modern world, where superstition is supposed to be nothing more than a relic of the past. Conclusion: In this sixth volume of the "Freedom Rider" series, Kathryn Knight once again explores every facet of her vivid imagination in an explosion of linguistic talent, creative storytelling, and a touch of darkness that makes her books an extravagant literary experience.
