His Claim in the Dark

To the surface world, he was just a carving in the rock. To her, he is the only warm thing left in the dark. When surveyor Lena Voss is buried alive in an ancient subterranean ruin, she prepares for the end. Then a massive shadow steps from the dark. Plated in dark scales, armed with blunt claws, and possessing heat-venting ridges that flare at her presence, Thryx is very much alive. Trapped for sixty-three winters after an ancient disaster, his solitary vigil has cost him almost everything. Now the creeping subterranean cold is stiffening his limbs, turning his living body to solid stone. He needs living heat to survive. And Lena is burning hot. A simple touch to unlock his frozen joints sparks an overwhelming hunger neither of them anticipated. As the cavern crumbles around them and rescue efforts threaten to bring the ceiling down, Thryx will move mountains to keep her safe. But once a monster marks you as his mate, he doesn't let go. A high-heat, forced-proximity monster romance featuring an isolated, touch-deprived hero, mutual competence, scent-marking, and an unapologetic happily ever after.
