Horotic

After losing her parents, Addison felt lost and helpless. She turned to faith for stability, reshaping her life around strict morality-swearing off alcohol, attending church every Sunday, and pledging abstinence until marriage with her devoted boyfriend, Julian. But conviction doesn't pay rent. On the verge of losing their tiny studio apartment, their lives are about to change drastically with a single knock at the door. Her estranged uncle, Graham Keene-an infamous figure known for star-studded, lavish, hedonistic, debaucherous parties-has died, leaving Addison his entire fortune: his businesses, more money than she could ever dream of, and the notorious mansion at the center of his empire. The Horotic House. There's only one condition: she must throw one last party in remembrance of her uncle. Drinking. Drugs. Sex. Everything she has sworn off, she now has to facilitate. But with unlimited funds and the perfect venue, how hard could it be? Very. The Horotic House may be breathtaking, but it is also haunted. And no, it's not just the staff whose uniform consists of loosely fitted bedsheets draped over their naked bodies. Something else-something unseen-is tormenting Addison, leaving her questioning not only her ability to host this party but also the very faith on which she'd built her new life. To claim the future suddenly within reach, Addison must rid The Horotic House of the entity that haunts it-and confront her internal struggles rising with it. Because the longer she remains in this place, the more she's forced to face a terrifying question: What does she truly want her life to be?
