Kingdom Of Strangers

'Competition to Stieg Larsson from an unexpected quarter' Sunday Times Chief Inspector Ibrahim Zahrani is in trouble - his mistress has gone missing and strict Saudi Arabian laws saying that adultery is punishable by death mean he cannot report it. Things get worse when a secret grave containing the bodies of nineteen women is discovered - a serial killer is on the loose, undetected for many years. With nowhere else to turn, Ibrahim brings the case to clever, determined Katya Hijazi, one of the few women on the force. Drawn by both investigations into Saudi Arabia's perilous underworld, Katya must also be increasingly careful to hide a secret of her own.
