Over time, the need to maximize production at farm level by managing pests and diseases has seen unprecedented increase in manufacture and use of pesticides. Farmers in rural areas use these pesticides without much consideration to their effects in the environment, let alone their own safety. This book brings these unsustainable practices into sharp focus.
