Lily of the Sea

Caraway Returns... Chart a Course, Plan a Wedding, Storm a Castle. What could go wrong? For the readers who are moody, feisty, and in another world may also be stabby. Caraway Auclair, the enforcer, mutinous traitor, kin slayer, and the infamous haunter of nightmares ... has returned to the sea; attempting to chart a new course for herself with a new crew. The Siren's Call. After nearly losing everything, all Caraway wants is to protect her new life, and what little hope remains for a brighter future she scarcely believes she deserves, but one she's willing to fight for. But can the happiness she's found among her new crew last? As their course takes unexpected turn after turn, Caraway struggles to balance safeguarding those closest to her and avoiding the escalation of her own violent reputation ... only to come to the realization that The Nightmare isn't a title she can bury in the past or cast out to sea. It's a brand, burned and forever beating inside herself. A piece of her past she may never be rid of. As she braves uncharted waters, new threats emerge, and old fears she once thought vanquished rear their ugly heads once more. Fears that might not merely sink her new captain and crew but any hope she had for letting go of The Nightmare once and for all. What to expect! Grim and emotional tale, slow-burn romance, grumpy x sunshine, one-bed and one-horse, feminine rage, found family, forbidden romance, pirate politics and found family drama, swordfights, thriller elements, and of course LGBTQA+ representation (Asexual fmc and other queer rep).
