Lingo Dingo and the Astronaut who spoke Portuguese

Learning Portuguese for children has never been more fun! Following on from the success of the wildly popular The Fabulous Lost and Found and the little Portuguese mouse, bestselling author, and writer on the Emmy Winning Tales of Peter Rabbit, Mark Pallis returns to make learning Portuguese for kids and children even more fun! "Lingo Dingo loves to help. Anyone. Anytime. Anyhow...." In this heartwarming story, Lingo travels to the stars to help a Portuguese Astronaut. There's just one problem. The Astronaut only speaks Portuguese.... What could go wrong!?! This heartwarming English Portuguese kids book: Blends an English language story with over 50 Portuguese words and phrases so that children learn Portuguese without realising; Builds a child's confidence in engaging with a new language; Cements the foundation of a lifelong love of the Portuguese language. And now with the follow up bilingual Portuguese English story, Lingo Dingo and the Portuguese Chef, you can learn another 50 Portuguese words and phrases! This book uses the unique Story Powered Language Learning method work to help children learn Portuguese without realising it. Unlike other Portuguese English books for children, or traditional bilingual Portuguese English childrens books (or bilingual Portuguese English kids books), this Portuguese language learning book for kids is different. We take a fun character, Lingo Dingo, who kids will love, and then we put her in a tight squeeze, where she needs to figure out the meaning of the Portuguese words and phrases in the story in order to help save the day. Kids will be so busy laughing that they don't realise they're learning. Message from the Author I am passionate about learning languages. There is something special about that sense of connection you get when you talk to another person in their mother tongue. The expression 'they really spoke my language' really captures that magic feeling. So unlike other Portuguese childrens books, this book makes Portuguese for kids fun. I really wanted to focus on words and expressions that would make people smile. Imagine the joy on the child's face when they say that special phrase to a native speaker! They'll feel so proud, and you will too! with my best wishes, Mark Pallis This book has been designed to appeal to anyone with an interest in the following: Portuguese English childrens books; Portuguese textbook for children; learning Portuguese for children; learning Portuguese for children; Portuguese story books for children; Portuguese dictionary children; learn Portuguese children; Portuguese stories for children; bilingual Portuguese English childrens books; Portuguese language childrens book; Portuguese language learning for kids; kids books 1 year old Portuguese; bilingual Portuguese English kids book; learning Portuguese for kids; Portuguese for kids beginners; kids Portuguese books for 2nd graders; Portuguese picture books; Portuguese language learning kids; learn Portuguese for kids; Portuguese workbook for kids; English Portuguese kids books; Portuguese kids books, Portuguese childrens books; Portuguese childrens books in Portuguese; Portuguese for children; Portuguese English childrens books; Portuguese textbook for children; learning Portuguese for children; learning Portuguese for children; Portuguese story books for children; Portuguese dictionary children; learn Portuguese children; Portuguese stories for children; bilingual Portuguese English childrens books; Portuguese language childrens book; book to teach kids Portuguese; dual language story to learn Portuguese
