Little People

Magical creatures made of wood scraps. Romantic and quietly comical, they insist on their right to be brought into the picture. With a text by Sten Nadolny. In the book by the photo artist Sebastian Kusenberg, who has who has also been working with sculptures for 15 years, small worlds bloom: Romantic and quietly comical romantic and subtly comical, they insist on their right to be into the picture. His LITTLE PEOPLE, which are created from the unchanged cuttings of his larger wooden sculptures have corners and edges and character in abundance. Each figure lives its particularity - none wants to be different from exactly the same. The artworks are accompanied by a text in 8 chapters by the well-known author Sten Nadolny. "...Some of us still believe they have an unbroken, linear origin, they would be identical or authentic or full wood. Nonsense! Our genes don't care about that one bit. You have two parents, four grandparents, sixteen great-grandparents, you are a hodgepodge of large-scale swept-together snippets!..." Sten Nadolny
