Miembro Fantasma

Fernanda Trías, one of the essential voices of this first quarter of the 21st century, bursts onto the scene with this tremendous book of short stories that explores and delves into the idea that we all have "phantom members." Or, at least, Fernanda Trías admits to having them, and so do the characters in these stories. These are the pains that remain lodged, throbbing dully. There are also phantom members lodged in the collective memory, related to historical wounds: in the case of Latin American countries, the scars of military dictatorships that disappeared so many and forced so many into exile. A book destined to become one of the most important titles in our catalog.
