Minor Arcana Vol. 4

New York Times bestselling cartoonist Jeff Lemire’s tarot-inspired saga comic book series continues in this fourth volume! A mystical meditation on loss and the connections that sustain us, Minor Arcana examines life’s most fragile moments and what happens when you try to run from your past. After misanthropic Theresa returns to her hometown to take care of her sick mother who spends her days as a phony psychic, Theresa discovers she may actually have psychic powers herself. As her powers bring her closer to the townspeople she spent her life running away from, Theresa is reunited with old friends and an old flame, unearthing memories of their humble beginnings. When new premonitions begin to surface, will Theresa stay afloat and help those around her, or will she drown under the weight of her powers? Jeff Lemire ’s critically acclaimed and Eisner-nominated series, with guest art by Letizia Cadonici (House of Slaughter, Creepshow), is a potent and darkly humorous family drama not to be missed.
