After the Sabat Union launches a surprise large-scale attack on the Western Front, the Austinese Army is brought to its knees, and the Sabatian soldiers begin their invasion of Austin. Tory and the surviving soldiers manage to escape to the fortified city of Mashdale, but they're not in the clear yet. As the enemy closes in, pillaging and burning villages along the way, the Austinese Army must prepare for a defensive battle to buy time for the higher-ups to scramble for a peace plan.
