Mother Night: Myths, Stories & Teachings for Learning to See in the Dark

Rescue the Gifted Soul! Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés says that the most endangered species on earth is the human soul. What if our world is starving for soulful gifts only you carry? What are you waiting for? Lost, pushed back, can't find the door, can't see in the dark? 'Mother Night' knows the way. On Mother Night, Dr. Estés teaches us to retrieve our beautiful gifts abandoned in the unconscious through neglect, ignorance, and fear. Gather with her at the fireside for nearly 10 hours of original teaching stories, poetry, commentary, and her special prayers of blessing over your creative soul. El Mundo Doble-the Double Worldview Mother Night is the medial force, seeing through the eyes of soul and through the eyes of ego. Dr. Estés describes this dual way of seeing, being, and acting, as the most direct way to reclaim the gifts and healing apothecary set into each soul at birth. Here, she unleashes the many archetypal images of Mother Night found in stories, myths, and imagination, showing us the way through. How to Bring Diamonds from the Darkness We are weakly linked or severed from the wild and wise self, teaches Dr. Estés. Yet, deep creative life is informed by the realm of mystery, dreams, sudden knowings; the shadow. Mother Night is our wild companion as we kneel to dig down to mine the raw gems of spirit, soul, and creative life, bringing diamonds from the darkness again, or for the very first time.
