My hobby is killing

I don't believe in ghosts..... Perhaps the reason for my skepticism is that my mind flatly rejects the possibility of their existence, always searching for a rational explanation. In any case, I am not a psychiatrist; I am a private investigator. There are those who disagree with me, and perhaps you are one of them. All I can do is recount the events exactly as they unfolded, starting from that bright January afternoon when my secretary, Miss Sylvia Troy, entered my office. She opened her black leather purse, took out three hundred dollars, placed the money on my desk, and said: – "I want you to catch a ghost." "What?!" She repeated her words with even greater seriousness: – "Please, Mr. Chambers, I am deadly serious." – "A ghost?!" – "Yes. A ghost that has already killed someone, and is threatening to kill two more.
