She covers the team. He's the one player she was never supposed to want. Frances Bell fought two years for the hockey beat, and a shot at the career she's wanted since she was twelve. Theo Korhonen is the quietest man in college hockey: a fifth-year goaltender who gives four-word answers and lets no one through. Then he catches her on a wet library step, and the wall he's kept for five years develops a flaw. What starts as an interview becomes a secret, the only place these two careful people can tell each other the truth. But the brighter Frances's career burns, the closer it comes to the one thing she's hidden in the dark. And Theo is starting to believe the only way to protect her is to take himself out of the play. A slow-burn, forbidden, open-door college hockey romance. Wolves of Ashford, Book Two. Standalone with an HEA.
