Rat Bohemia

-Rat Bohemia, first published by Dutton in 1995, won the Ferro-Grumley Award for Lesbian Fiction in 1996, and was widely acclaimed (see reviews). It was also named as one of the "100 Best Gay and Lesbian Novels of All Time" by The Publishing Triangle. --Sarah Schulman is one of the most compelling literary voices working in America today; her novels, plays, and essays are defiant, political, and full of wit and pathos. --Her books have been translated into eight other languages, and her other awards include the Gustav Meyers Book Award on the Study of Human Rights, the Gregory Kolovakos Memorial Prize for AIDS Fiction, 3 Guggenheim Awards for playwrighting; and 3 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowships. --This new reprint is NOT part of Arsenal's Little Sister's Classics series. However, it includes a brand-new introduction by the author, who provides a cultural and historical context for her novel twelve years after it was first published.
