SAT Math Smartcuts

The digital SAT is a time test before it is a math test. You get about 95 seconds a question. If a single multiplication costs you thirty of them, you are not losing marks because you do not know the maths - you are losing them to the clock. This book fixes the clock. Start with the 6-Minute Benchmark on page one: twelve problems, no calculator, stopwatch running. Write down your time. That number is the whole point of this book, because on Day 28 you will sit the exact same test again and see what four weeks bought you. Inside: Eight chapters of mental-math shortcuts built for digital SAT question types A 28-day speed log so you can actually see the streak you are building One "party trick" per chapter - the shortcuts that make people ask how you did that 50 original SAT-style practice problems, every one with a worked solution and a time target A 4-week plan, cheat sheets, common traps, and a Day 28 retest with a certificate Every problem in this book is original. Nothing here reproduces a real SAT question. Use it for speed, and use College Board's free Bluebook practice tests for question feel - the book tells you exactly how to combine the two. Perfect for high-school students, homeschoolers, tutors and parents who want a concrete, measurable way to stop losing points to the timer.
