The boy who tamed the wind

He lived in a country where magic was widespread, and modern science was a mystery to its people. But William had read about windmills and dreamed of building one that would bring a luxury to his small village that only 2% of Malawi's population enjoyed: electricity and running water. His neighbors called him Mesala (the crazy one), but William refused to give up on his dreams. With a pile of old science books, some worn iron, parts of a discarded tractor, two broken bicycle wheels, and a stockpile of curiosity and determination, he set out to implement a bold plan to invent a small miracle that would change the lives of everyone around him. This book tells a moving true story of human ingenuity and the ability to overcome adversity. It's a story that will inspire anyone who doubts their ability to transform their community and improve the lives of those around them. "This is an inspiring story that shows that big change can start with a small idea." - The New York Post Obeikan Publishing
