The Tomb of Spring: Testimony from Halabja. Life is a Story - story.one

Silent Witness. That is the title of the iconic photograph by Ramazan Öztürk, which, for many, has become a symbol of the Halabja tragedy. It shows a baby falling victim to the chemical attack while cradled in its fathers arms, capturing the brutal reality of that event in a single, haunting image. But who was this child, frozen forever in the current of time at that tragic moment? How many other children shared the same fate?Amid the chaos, while the world collapses and the air is filled with poison, a little girl dares to take her first steps. Due to a developmental delay, she walks later than other children, but with just as much determination. Her goal: to share this newfound ability to walk with the people she still has left.
