The Worst Lies . . . Are Lies You Tell Yourself!

The worst lies are always the lies you tell yourself, because while you may be able to fool some of the people some of the time, you can't fool all of the people all of the time; and the one person you simply cannot fool is the person who is you! William Shakespeare really did say it all when he said, "To thine own self be true." And the truth is . . . even if you try to tell yourself something that isn't true . . . and no matter how hard you may try to convince yourself that the lie you are trying to tell yourself is true, you will know in your heart that you are simply lying to yourself. And the lies you tell yourself are the worst lies of all! So remember to always be true to yourself, and to follow your own special star! And think about this as you travel through the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book filled with word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, and as you build your reading word vocabulary, hosted by fun Penelope Dyan characters who are sure to make you smile!
