Tidings of Murder and Joy

Kitty, a former flight attendant now working at the Sjøfryd care home, finds herself drawn into a mystery when a man named Teddy, one of the employees, is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Refusing to leave the matter to the police, Kitty and her spirited circle of friends form a small detective club called The Sjøfryd Snoops and begin their own amateur investigation. As the group delves into Teddy's past, marked by broken relationships and hidden tensions, the story blends gentle humour, community spirit and festive warmth with a touch of intrigue. Moving between scenes of life at the care home, their sleuthing escapades and Kitty's tender yet comical relationship with her partner Colin, Tidings of Murder and Joy is a cosy crime novel full of the joys of friendship, curiosity and the magic of Christmas in a seaside town.
