Una Farsa Sobre Hielo

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Lynn Painter comes Fake Skating, a heartwarming and funny romantic comedy about two childhood best friends whose frosty reunion in their hockey-obsessed hometown thaws quickly and unexpectedly when they have to pretend to be dating... As a kid, Dani couldn't help but follow her mom's best friend's adorable son everywhere. Funny, a little quirky, and with a heart of gold, Alec was always up for hanging out with Dani when they were just little kids. From hanging out at the park to sneaking into the movies together, Dani and Alec were inseparable. Until Dani moved away. Alec promised they'd stay in touch, but... they didn't. Years later, Dani has moved back to Minnesota for her senior year of high school, and she and her mom are living with her grandfather. Despite having to deal with the devastating fallout from her parents' divorce, Dani wouldn't mind spending time with the warm and friendly Alec (and maybe even getting a chance to talk to him and ask him why he suddenly stopped speaking to her years ago). But the teenage Alec is nothing like the kid Dani remembers. Now he's a hockey star in a town where hockey players are treated like gods. And the place Dani used to occupy is now filled by his many female fans, who are head over heels for him... and he loves the change. Dani is determined to ignore her old best friend until a series of unfortunate events brings them together again and forces them to pretend to be a couple. Once reunited, these two former childhood best friends will have to pick up where they left off, unraveling some complex family secrets, and confronting their feelings for each other... as well as the real reason why Alec has stayed away from Dani all these years.
