[What Do You Believe? Evangelical Faith in Conversation] Whoever becomes a Christian always learns to start anew with Jesus, says Michael Heymel. How does that work today, when you think about the global situation of Christianity? This book assumes that Christian faith is lived worship practice, shaped in different cultures, reflected upon, and answered for. It invites the reader to talk about faith from a Protestant perspective and offers information about what Martin Luther's Small Catechism calls the »main pieces of faith«: the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, Baptism and Holy Communion. It also introduces such pieces that are no longer self-evident even to many Christians, such as the church year, the Scriptures, worship, the Psalms, and confession.
