BattleTech: Shrapnel, Issue #24 (The Official BattleTech Magazine)

DEATH BEFORE DISPOSSESSION! Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine will keep you in the cockpit and in control across the pulse-pounding, unrelenting BattleMech combat of the 31st century and beyond! A Taurian MechWarrior whose daughter was abducted by pirates will do anything she can to mount a rescue, even confronting a life she'd left behind long ago. Seemingly doomed to outlive her peers, a tenacious Snow Raven ProtoMech pilot seeks a way to immortalize the memories of her lost warriors. A House Kurita MechWarrior who faced the viciousness of Clan Smoke Jaguar firsthand has lost her ability to pilot a 'Mech and must forge a new path toward destiny, but the price may be her own future... In this issue, you'll travel to Bountiful Harvest in the Hinterlands, where the Death's Head Mercenary Corps finds itself embroiled in the Malthus Confederation's latest scheme. You'll visit Outreach, home of the famed Wolf's Dragoons, where a young mercenary strives to keep a legendary 'Mech out of enemy hands. Then take one more jump to Solaris for the championship match in the final installment of James Bixby's serial novel Fortune and Glory. Get ahead of the game with intel on lesser-known hyperpulse-generator applications, ways to combat boredom between missions, an in-depth look at the independent nature of Skye, and the history of your new favorite eatery, Taco Shark, along with unit and planet digests, technical readouts, playable scenarios, and more!
