Diwan in criticism and literature

A critical edifice that Al-Mazni and Al-Aqqad built together, to be a mirror of the aesthetics of poetry and its issues, and a field for an intellectual war against tradition and stagnation. The book discusses the concept of literature and the truth of poetry, what a poet should be in terms of honesty and experience, and how he should distance himself from the restrictions that burden the language. The authors move between criticizing the poets of their time in a manner that combines seriousness and humor, pointing out the need for literature to identify with oneself and society, without losing its authentic essence. Their desire is for literature to be a living voice that touches the depth of a person and expresses his visions.
