Raaze

Her ship. Her rules. Her unwelcome (handsome) alien problem. Cait Rhenn took the run to Parac'Norr because no one else in the company would touch it. She didn't expect to end up with a near-fatal landing, evidence of sabotage, or to be chatted up by seven feet of heavily-muscled sexy alien with 'player' written all over him. He'd taken one look at her and written her off as easy. His mistake. She might be immune to his kind of charm, but not to being slung over a broad shoulder and carried aboard her own ship when the prison alarms go off. By the time she stopped cursing him, the warrant for their arrest was already on the broadcast... her ship registration flagged from one end of the sector to the other as a wanted vessel. Trapped on a ship the size of a shoebox with seven feet of unrepentant flirt was bad enough. Worse was the way she kept thinking about the kiss he'd conned out of her, and worse still, how much she wanted another one... His face was on a billion billboards. Now there's a warrant on it. The highest-paid striker in a generation, Raaze was the king of warball... his face on every billboard from Lathar Prime to the outer colonies. But then a faked Blood Rage diagnosis stripped his name and dumped him on a prison planet. The small human pilot was supposed to be his way out. Females loved him. All he had to do was flash a smile, and they fell at his feet. But he hadn't counted on that charm not working. He also hadn't counted on a female who lied past station security like she'd been born to it, or picked encrypted locks while he stood watch and tried not to stare. A thousand females had thrown themselves at him, but he'd never wanted any of them like this. The moment a male looks at her too long in a docking bay, he's ready to go to war. Their cover be damned. But then the only male alive who could clear his name turned up dead before they could reach him. The official line was a shuttle malfunction; the ransacked apartment said otherwise. And the clan that did all of it is still watching every shipping lane between here and the only stage in the Empire big enough to expose them... He spent his entire career chasing trophies. Now he's playing for the only thing he's ever wanted to keep.
