The Storm at Carew Lodge

The storm cuts Carew Lodge off from the world—and leaves a murderer inside. A private winter reunion has drawn old friends, old loyalties and carefully guarded resentments to Colonel Samuel Carew's country house. A missing letter wallet and a false account of wet clothing deepen the suspicion. Then, just as the first crime begins to yield its secrets, another visitor walks into deadly danger—and the storm's most convincing alibi starts to break apart.
